LIFELINE THEATER & ART CENTRE
Empowering people with special needs through creative expression.
Welcome To Lifeline Theater
Each week, we meet with 300 children and adults with special needs in Westchester and Fairfield counties.
We use singing, dancing, creating plays, mixed-media art, songwriting, poetry, and gardening in a safe, nurturing environment while encouraging creative exploration, self-expression, socializing, and joy.
We invite you to learn more about our values, programs, and the folks we are honored to serve — they inspire us and we think they'll inspire you too.

Music, Stories & Healing
In every class, someone steps up and makes music. For many of “our guys”, merely speaking into a microphone becomes an act of self-esteem.
There really is no end to the lessons we learn and the humanity we witness being with “our guys”. The healing is reciprocal and our gratitude is sharing these special moments.
We use this space to tell their amazing stories and bring their photos, videos and achievements to your attention so that all of us can experience their true talents and potential.

We create a safe, nurturing environment where each person is free to interact and learn what they like or don’t like. Their choices are valued and respected.
The Healing Power of Creative Expression
In every class, there are moments of pure joy that bring different forms of fulfillment. For some, it could be the satisfaction of reciting a song's lyrics flawlessly or singing in perfect pitch. For others, it might be the sheer joy of dancing ecstatically. And for those who speak into a microphone for the first time, it could be an empowering experience.
The first thing you might notice in this video is the joy and love that fills the room. Those feelings come through in every one of Billy’s classes. His magic power is his awesome ability to bring out their hidden talents and in his sincerity to the social and emotional well being of all people with disabilities.
